Our project answers to the lack of a social education from a gender perspective, whose direct consequence is the ignorance of the rights by the citizens and implicitly the lack of social and legal reaction to the situations of discrimination.

This project provides learning opportunities for the partners involved in gender education. The key point is how to develop competencies, strategies and practices to combat and prevent domestic violence for adult people, for women victims of domestic violence belonging both to vulnerable groups and mainstream society empowering them to stand against domestic violence and for social inclusion. Working with women who suffer double discrimination - gender discrimination and ethnic/racial discrimination (migrants, refugees, Roma people) – partner organizations will provide consultancy regarding their rights in line with national legislation and Istanbul Convention, tackle prejudices and gender stereotypes, norms, attitudes and behaviors; they will become more capable to change their attitudes towards domestic violence and to stand against it, more trusted and self-confidence facilitating their social inclusion.
